A New School Year, and a New Schoo!

With the new school quickly approaching, I am gearing up for a new school, a new cheerleading squad, and a whole new subject to teach! I will be teaching at Walnut Grove Middle School here in Midlothian!!! I can't even explain how excited I am! No more 80 mile round trip commute! Plus, I get to be a part of the kids lives here in town! I will be teaching 2 classes of 6th grade Science, 2 classes of 7th grade Science, and I will have one class for cheerleading! I spent 4 days last week at TCU with my new squad for cheer camp. It was just me and 18 girls!!! Whew...I was worn out at the end of the week! The girls are great though! We had a great time getting to know each other and are all excited about the upcoming cheer season! Here are some pics of the girls and I at camp this week!

Sunday Funday!!

Today was definately Sunday Funday at our house! We were all over the place! I took all these pictures within about a 15 minute span! Chris and I were talking today about how crazy it is that Everett is 10 months old - much less about to be a whole ONE YEARS OLD! He sure is growing up fast! He is "talking" all the time - at least in his own language, has 6 teeth, will stand without holding on to anything for a good amount of time, loves water (whether its the pool or tubby-time), eats regular food now - we are trying to quit babyfood altogether, uses a sippy cup at every meal and snack time, loves to give kisses, smiles constantly, and is an all-around fantastic little kidd-o if I do say so myself! We are the luckiest parents ever! Hope you enjoy these pics from our Sunday Funday!

Big Boy Toy

Daddy came home with this awesome new toy for Everett! It is from Leap Frog - it does so many things from singing the alphabet, to saying colors and shapes, and much more! On top of all that - it will do this in both English and Spanish! Everett just loves it! He can stand up next to it and practice walking around! What a great toy! Chris and Everett were so cute playing together with it, that I had to post all of these pictures.....Daddy sure loves his little boy!

This week while I was at cheerleading camp at TCU, Everett got to stay with his Grandma and Grandpa King. These are a couple of pictures that they took while he was there. Sure looks like he had a lot of fun. I am sure they are worn out! :)

Noah's Birthday Party

Watermelon Pictures

So, after Everett had his 9 month pictures taken with our photographer, she asked if she could use him as a model for a shot she had been wanting to get. She had imagined this picture of a bald headed, blue eyed, naked baby chilling out amidst watermelons! Well....Everett fit the bill! So here is one of the pictures! I love it....it's so precious! 4th of July Week

These are some pictures from the last week. Somehow we managed NOT to take any pictures actually on the 4th....I have no idea how that happened, but it did. However, these are from the weekend of the 4th and all the next week. On Sunday, the 6th, Everett had a play date with one of his friends, Noah. We are going to Noah's 1st birthday party this weekend. Then on Monday the 7th, we headed down to see Mama D and Papa D at the ranch in the hill country with Grandaddy King. We just got back on Thursday. We are definately keeping busy! Hope you enjoy some of the pics we took!!

TWA/Wedding/The DD Ranch

Last weekend was a whirlwind of a weekend! Chris, Everett, and I headed down to the San Antonio/Hill Country for a TON of festivities. Thursday we were at the DD Ranch (Mom and Dad's new place), Friday it was to San Antonio for wedding festivites, and Saturday was the morning wedding and then TWA (Texas Wildlife Association) for the evening! All in all it was a great weekend!
