Fun Filled Weekend

We had a lot of fun this weekend, however, there were some not-so-fun moments mixed in! Friday night, Everett went and stayed and his Grandma and Grandaddy King's house. He woke up in the middle of the night throwing up and what not.....needless to say he still had a good time! They played outside and sat in the hay in the front yard! Saturday night, he got sick again - we thought it was just the milk! Nope! Mommy was sick all afternoon and evening on Sunday, but Everett seemed to be feeling better. Daddy was sick all day Monday, but is feeling better today. We are not sure where the bug came from, but we are definately glad it is over! We were all miserable! At some point in our crazy weekend, Everett learned to drink from a straw!! He was so pround of himself that he clapped when he was finished! He carred that HUGE Whataburger cup around with him for about 10 minutes! It was really a cute thing to watch!

One Beautiful Fall Afternoon!

It was so nice outside this afternoon, that Everett and I spent about an hour playing around in the front yard. Well, he played - I chased him down when he got too far.....he gets faster and faster each day! It's getting harder to keep up with him!! It's okay though! Texas State Fair Days

Yesterday we took Everett to the State Fair in Dallas! We had lots of fun! Everett had his first taste of funnel cake! He really like it....but it made a huge mess! The powdered sugar was everywhere...I am sure you can imagine that one! Everett also got to see Big Tex for the first time! He loved watching the rides go up and down, and round and round. We lasted a few hours in the heat - and then decided to head back home! It was a nice, fun family day - it doesnt get much better than that!
