February..Snow and a Half Marathon!

This was a CRAZY month of TEXAS WEATHER!

We had a huge snow storm!  The snow and ice were so bad that we (and most of North Texas were out of school for an ENTIRE WEEK)!!

With a week off of school (an no electricity for a good 18 hours)...

it was difficult to always keep busy!

We managed, though!

I think we burned through all the firewood we had left...which was quite a bit!

Lots of snuggle time! :)

I thought this was the coolest thing all week long....

We ventured out one day when the ice was clearing up to our Wal-Mart in town.

This is what we found....

Adults, parents, and family pets sledding down the hill in town!

This wasn't even half of the people!  It was so cool!  

Fun that we live in a town small enough for this to occur!

This month I Shelby and I took our running to the next level!

The two of us completed our first ever HALF-MARATHON!

We ran the Cowtown Half this year!

We both ran the entire 13.1 miles and finished in 2 hours and 25 minutes!

We were so proud of our accomplishment!
